Bold and humble; task and relationship; support and challenge:  These are polarities. Capitalizing on polarities in coaching is a superpower and can evoke meaningful awareness with clients.  Without training, however, implementing this skill can feel intimidating.  Join this session with Cathy Carroll, MCC to deepen your understanding of how to frame a polarity and improve your coaching skills.  Through stories, Cathy will demonstrate how to use the very basics of polarities in both individual coaching and team coaching, and then she’ll recommend a variety of resources to facilitate coach growth from scrappy to skilled in this important coaching skill.  No experience in polarities necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • The role of understanding polarities in coaching
  • How polarities create blind spots for clients
  • How to mentally and emotionally prrepare to help clients deepn their self-awareness
  • How to leverage polarities to evoke client awareness
