Join us as we kick off International Coaching Week 2021 with ICF Edmonton Past President, Sarah Thomas.
The neuroscience of coaching is often used to describe why and how coaching works. This session will unpack and explore more recent advancements in neuroscience and how this expanding knowledge is steering away from the more popularized concepts of how the brain works and evolved. From this foundation of understanding we will begin to paint the picture of why this might matter to our clients and to coaching.
Sarah Thomas is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and was a scientist and researcher in a former life. Sarah earned a BSc. in Neuroscience and a MSc in Biomedical Engineering, where she studied neurophysiology, motor control and neuroplasticity. Sarah has a passion for understanding the brain and how it works to help people better understand their own mind and the beautiful concept of what it means to be human.
*Please note that registrants must attend the live event to receive CCEU credits.
This session will be held via Zoom. Once you have registered to attend, the Zoom details will be emailed to you.
